What Is an IPTV Service?

IPTV stands for Internet Protocol Television: television delivered over an internet connection rather than through an aerial, a cable line or a satellite dish.

The short explanation

With traditional broadcast television, a signal is pushed to everyone at once and your equipment tunes into it. With IPTV, the video travels over the same internet connection you already use for everything else, and your player software requests the stream you want to watch. The underlying technology is simply a delivery method — the same approach used by ordinary streaming apps.

Because it is a delivery method rather than a content catalog in itself, the technology doesn't tell you anything about what a particular provider offers or how it is licensed. Those are separate questions to ask about any specific service you consider.

What you need to watch

  • A reasonably stable internet connection. Consistency matters more than headline speed; a connection that drops briefly will interrupt a live stream.
  • A device that can run a compatible player. Smart TVs, streaming boxes, computers, phones and tablets are the usual candidates. See our supported devices overview.
  • Access details from your provider. These are entered into the player and should be treated as private credentials.

Why a trial tells you more than a feature list

Two people on the same service can have very different experiences, because the result depends on their connection, their device and the player they use. That's the reason we activate a 24-hour trial before asking for payment: it replaces guesswork with a test on the hardware you actually own.

During a trial, check playback at the time of day you normally watch and how quickly streams start. Your 24-hour trial includes the same content and simultaneous streams as your selected paid plan.

How this works with us

Pro IPTV Service offers paid 1-, 3- and 12-month subscriptions for 1, 2 or 3 simultaneous streams, all priced in US dollars. Multi-stream paid plans may be used across different networks. Trial access is separate, starts when working access is delivered, and requires no upfront payment. After payment you have a 7-day window to request a full refund.

If that sounds like a fit, you can compare the plans and totals or request your 24-hour free trial.
