How to Choose an IPTV Subscription

Most buying mistakes come from comparing the wrong numbers. These are the six things worth checking, with worked examples from our own price list.

1. Decide the term before the price

A short term costs more per month but limits your exposure if the service doesn't suit you. A long term lowers the monthly equivalent but ties up more money at once. With us there are three options — 1 month, 3 months and 12 months — and no 6-month term.

2. Compare totals, not monthly equivalents

A monthly equivalent is a comparison figure you get by dividing a total by its number of months. It is not a monthly bill. For a single device, our totals are $11.99 for one month, $24.99 for three months and $59.99 for twelve. That last figure works out at roughly $5.00 per month, but it is paid once — not in installments.

If a provider only advertises a monthly equivalent, work out the total before comparing. It's the number that leaves your account.

3. Count simultaneous streams, not devices

The figure you pay for is how many streams can run at the same time. Two devices at $99.99 for a year, or three at $139.99, describe concurrency — not how many devices you may set up. One person watching alone rarely needs more than a single connection.

4. Check your device honestly

Ask about your exact model rather than trusting a long logo wall. A provider that can tell you which player it supports on your device is more useful than one that claims everything works. Our device overview covers the categories, and live chat handles specific models.

5. Insist on testing before paying

A trial lets you check playback on your own connection. Working access is delivered before payment, and the 24 hours begin at delivery. Your 24-hour trial includes the same content and simultaneous streams as your selected paid plan. You can request a trial without entering card details.

6. Read the refund terms before paying

Know the window, how to start a request and whether troubleshooting is a condition. Ours is seven calendar days from payment, refunds can be requested even after using the paid service, and troubleshooting is optional rather than required — see the refund policy.

Putting it together

Pick the term you're comfortable with, pick the number of streams you genuinely need, test before paying, and check the refund window. If you want to see all nine combinations side by side, the plans page lists every total in USD.
